Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Masterclass

Advance your skill with full facial assessment and how to safely perform this transformative advanced filler technique.

Advance your skills as an Aesthetic Practitioner and offer a more comprehensive service to your patients

This course is aimed at regulated Heathcare Professionals (registered Doctors, Dentists, Dental Technicians, Dental Hygienists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists) who have completed their Foundations of Dermal Filler training with us or elsewhere. Evidence of this will be required. We would expect the Practitioner to have performed at least 20 dermal filler procedures and to be comfortable with the anatomy and main injection techniques. Experience with advanced dermal filler procedures is also desired. There are multiple benefits to training on this advanced course:

  • Learning how to perform an advanced facial assessment helps address the root cause of the patient’s concerns and logically plan treatment(s). Results in turn can be far more rewarding than treating superficial lines only. Objectively restoring beauty requires understanding of ageing and how this influences facial proportions.

  • Armed with several filler techniques, one can tackle more challenging cases and flexibly cater to a variety of concerns. Techniques can also be combined to achieve better results.

  • Non-surgical rhinoplasty (or ‘liquid rhinoplasty; nose job) allows restoration of facial proportion and harmony in select patients. The results can be very dramatic/transformative. The risks are far smaller than the surgical approach, at a fraction of the recovery time and cost.

  • Various indications exist for non-surgical rhinoplasty: correcting a dorsal hump (bump on the nose), straightening the nose and/or lifting the nasal tip. Increasingly, non-surgical rhinoplasty is used as a follow-on to surgical rhinoplasty, given the risks of redo surgery.

Where does the course take place?

The entire training day takes place at the dedicated Hourglass Aesthetics Training Academy on 43 Schoolhill, Aberdeen, AB10 1JT.

What does the course cost?

The full cost of the course is £950 (no added charges). The programme is excellent value for money given the comprehensive content and intensive hands-on practical exposure in the afternoon. Our trainee group size on advanced courses is small with trainee to trainer ratio of 2:1 or 3:1 max. We do not charge models you provide on this course, and any charge you incur upon them is at your discretion.

What if I feel I need more training or supervision?

That’s not a problem. Recognising the limits of your competency is an important professional attribute. We want to support you throughout your early aesthetics career and we want to produce confident, safe practitioners. We can offer further clinical supervision while you practice your filler procedures. Please see our Professional Services for more information.
